Mercury's still throwing tantrums, Venus is dragging her feet, and Aries season is yelling at us to get moving—welcome to the cosmic chaos!
If your inbox is suddenly filled with “Hey, stranger” texts from ghosts of relationships past, or your half-finished projects are side eyeing you from the corner, congratulations! You're living through the last sputters of Mercury retrograde. We've got a few more days of this communication kerfuffle before Mercury finally stations direct, and Venus, ever the drama queen, is taking her sweet time too. Even after they officially move forward, their shadow periods will have us feeling like we're walking out of a foggy nightclub at dawn—dazed, confused, and maybe questioning our choices.
And yet, Aries season is not here to coddle us. It’s barking orders: “be decisive, get up, get going, and make it happen!” The cosmic winds have shifted, and we are being shoved forcefully into action.
Enter Neptune in Aries, which officially kicked in on March 30, 2025, like a visionary on a caffeine high. Since 2011, Neptune in Pisces had us marinating in dreams, illusions, and existential naps. Now? The dream is demanding to be made real. Neptune in Aries is giving us a preview—a trailer, if you will—of what happens when creativity meets courage, when the subconscious gets a battle cry. This influence lasts until October 2025, when Neptune briefly moonwalks back into Pisces, giving us one last moment to reflect before the real journey begins.
Think of it like when Aquarius was shifting out of Capricorn last year: the universe gave us a test run, a sample of the new cosmic flavor. This time, the sample tray is filled with bold and action-packed energy and like it or not, it’s time to take a bite.
What now? What are you going to do with this information? Honestly, navigating all this energy, even as an astrologer feels like a lot when I look at the whole of it. However, I have noticed that for myself, the medicine has been in creating and discovering new ways to feel artistic. In his book, The Creative Act: A Way Of Being, Rick Rubin states, “Turning something from an idea into a reality can make it seem smaller. It changes from unearthly to earthly. The imagination has no limits. The physical world does. The work (creativity) exists in both.”
Neptune gives us inspiration and Aries gives us the drive and energy to birth it. What will you birth during this amazing time?
Investigating your personal natal/birth chart will give you the most informed way to learn how to enter the flow state with all this astrological weather.
